My name is Asia, I am a 29 years old and a native Italian speaker and teacher from Sicily, in the south of Italy.
I graduated in Linguistics and Cultural Mediation and I am able to speak and write English (C1) as well as Spanish (C1) fluently.
Furthermore, I attended the Master Itals in Didactics of the Italian Language to foreigners and Promotion of the Italian Culture abroad, which let me achieve the good teaching skills that now I own.
I am a skilled and experienced online teacher thanks to my studies and various collaborations with different language schools around the world.

I like to propose to my students lessons based on communication, showing the characteristics of real communication between Italian speakers and the culture that characterises them. I can create lessons based on your needs (communication, grammar, vocabulary and phonetics) and on what you like the most, like movies, songs, art as well as literature.
We can also arrange a Book Club if you like!
No matter if you are a beginner or advanced, I can prepare lessons for every level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2) and I will provide you with every material!

- I'm a professional Italian teacher from Italy, now living between Pisa and Rome. I have 10 years of teaching experience. I offer my native knowledge of Italian to any of you, who wants to discover this beautiful language.

I teach for all levels, from very beginners to advanced speakers, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I can also help with university exams and school works/assignments.
Being a pianist and a piano teacher, I already have lots of experience with teaching and pedagogical approach with the whole range of ages.

The lesson is intended to meet the student needs: the focus can be on the grammar, conversation or literature. In case of a middle-level speaker, the lesson will cover all four language's abilities: listening, speaking, writing and reading. My suggestion of a well planned lesson is, for any level, to divide it into two parts: grammar first and then conversation (covering all the abilities mentioned above).

If you wish to brush up your Italian, resume a past series of lessons, or simply start from scratch learning Italian, this is the right lesson for you! I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.
