Once we make sure you are fine and confident with the basics of the language, we can adjust the lessons to your own needs: we can focus on conversation and everyday use words and sentences, so that at the end you will eventually be able to speak and understand Italian in real life situations, or we can focus more on the grammar if you need to improve that aspect of the language, or just on whatever you need.
What I try to do in my lessons is to recreate the process that we go through when we learn our first language as kids. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing.
