I am a qualified teacher with five years of experience working in a variety of educational settings in the UK, US and Canada. My specialties are English literature and Language, English as an Additional Language, French and Art.

Here in the UK, I obtained my PGDE from the University of Edinburgh and I have taught English in local Secondary schools in classes ranging from 20 to over 30 pupils and tutored privately in small groups as well as one-on-one. In Canada, I obtained my B.A. in English literature and Art History (1st class). There, I taught art in bilingual English/French classrooms to pupils ages 5-15 in summer and afterschool programmes.

I tailor my approach to the individual. I do not believe there is a "one size fits all" method of teaching which works for everyone. What I believe in is getting it right for every learner.
