My name is Jean. I am a native French speaker from the Democratic Republic of Congo, the second French-speaking country in the world. I am now a Bachelor's Degree holder in teaching French as a foreign language.
Passionate, motivated and attentive French tutor with 25 years of experience in teaching French as a foreign language and certified TEF examiner, I have been teaching general French for 25 years, French for Specific Purposes and French for Academic Purposes for 2 years. I have also been a TEF examiner for 1 year.
As a French tutor, in order to help learners to achieve their learning goals, I strive to adapt myself to the specific needs of each learner so as to meet those needs. In addition, I use several methods, in particular the communicative approach. This allows me to develop in learners, skills to understand a message and to express themselves both orally and in writing. With this approach, learners therefore manage to use different linguistic elements such as grammar, vocabulary, phonetics, etc.
