French Language Tutoring (Writing/ Reading/ Grammar/ Vocabulary focus)
From 49 C$ /h
I am a goal orientated person and this is reflected in my lesson plans so that after each lesson you will feel a true sense of improvenment. I have studied french throught school and university and have spent more than a year living in different Regions of France. I aim to use all my experience to help you identify problem areas and tackle these using all mediums of French (writing/reading/oral/aural). For absolute beginners, I will present these new areas in an approachable way so it never feels overwhelming. Whilst lessons will be adapted to make them interactive and engaging for each student the aim will be to have a focus for each lesson, for example a grammar point. We will then look at the rules for this, highlight the main exceptions to this rule. Then continue to work on the point through exercises to master this particular skill. Then move on to using it in context and recognising it in extracts from books, listenings and other activities. This will constantly expose you to new vocabulary and structures so you are learning and improving the entire lesson but will also have avhieved a clear goal at the end, mastering the grammar point.

About Me
I am a final year French and Economics student in an Irish University. I have been studying french for years, choosing to study it as my fourth A-Level despite the rest of my subjects being scientific based, because I am so passionate about the language. I love to travel and having a second language has been hugely helpful in my explorations across the world. I was lucky enough to do an Erasmus year in the French overseas territory of La Réunion and have also spend a summer living in Montpellier, France, to work. I understand the struggles that come with learning French because they are the struggles I have faced and overcome and this has influenced my tutoring style. I know it is important to keep up motivation because language learning is not a quick task and so I set small achievable goals but make sure to address these in a range of ways (writing/reading/aural/oral/translation) so that as the goals are met, all skills are still improving, helping reach fluency.
