Teaching Approach
My lessons are designed to be lively and interactive — the student speaks French as much as possible from day one. Rather than passive learning, I focus on active practice: real conversation, spontaneous exchanges, and natural back-and-forth dialogue in French.
Each session blends a variety of exercises to build well-rounded skills:

Listening comprehension — audio clips, dialogues, songs, short videos
Reading comprehension — articles, short texts, dialogues adapted to the student's level
Grammar — practical, contextualized grammar points, not dry memorization

About Me

Hi, I'm Rodolphe. I'm originally from Brittany, France, and I've been living in Budapest, Hungary for over twenty-five years. I've been teaching English and French for more than twenty years, in France, Scotland, and Hungary — working with teenagers in technical/vocational programs as well as adults in professional training or career transition.

My teaching approach is practical and supportive: I adapt to each student's level and goals, whether that means preparing for an exam, improving spoken fluency for professional purposes, or simply rebuilding confidence in a foreign language.
