About Me

I am a professional language teacher. I can speak six languages and would like to share my knowledge with my students. I am looking for the most appropriate method for each particular group or student.

I am open to any level, from complete beginners to advanced learners who wish to practice. The class is adapted to the student, whether that means conversation practice, grammar or revising for a specific exam (like GCSE or A-level).

I'm Alice, 22 and recently graduated with a First Class degree in French and Linguistics from the University of Leeds. I spent the third year of my degree living and working in France, completing two internships and doing some private English tutoring too. I would love to share what I've learned over these 4 years to help other students!

My approach is student-centered, prioritizing what you want out of your classes, making for a fun and relaxed learning atmosphere. I like to use current examples in my teaching to make the subject relevant and to really engage students. I am also open to emails and discussion between classes- learning isn't just in the classroom!

As a french native and journalist, I know how to perfectly use Moliere's language. I currently doing my second master's degree in the UK, which means that I am now fluent after having spent a full year in the country.

I'm really passionate about languages. I loved and still love learning English, that's why I want to teach french and make learning it something really funny. I believe that learning a language is easier when you adapt it to your own daily life, and that's what I will try to teach you.

As a native speaker, it would be so interesting to help you discover the culture while learning how to talk.

At the start of each class, a theme will be given with a panel of vocabulary then put into practice (written and oral comprehension) followed by an improvised exchange, it is above all necessary to de-stress the student in his relation to the language so that he can develops real communication skills.
