Cours de Français tous niveaux / French tutoring every level

From 43 C$ /h

Hello,

I'm a French student in international and European law and I would like to become a tutor. I can give lessons to anyone who might be interested in French tutoring. It would be a great opportunity to speak with a native!
I think it is important to learn how to speak a different language with concrete situations of everyday-life, but I can adapt to the personal objective of my trainee.
Let me know if you are interested!

About Me

J'ai commencé à donner des cours pendant ma première année de licence, et cela m'a beaucoup plu. J'aime transmettre des connaissances et accompagner un élève pour lui donner envie d'apprendre.
J'essaie de comprendre comment l'élève fonctionne pour pouvoir m'adapter au mieux à ses besoins et pour ne pas que le cours représente une charge pour lui/ elle.

Education

J'ai obtenu un bac scientifique.
J'ai suivi une première année de classe préparatoire littérature et science sociale, à l'issue de laquelle je me suis réorientée vers le droit international, une voie qui semblait me correspondre davantage.
Je viens de terminer mes études et suis travaille actuellement en tant qu'assistante de langue à Düsseldorf (Gymnasium).

Private French lessons for children or adults, levels AO to B2

----------English version below----------------------

Hello!

My name is Eulalie (I'm French), and I currently work as a language assistant in a high school in Düsseldorf. I offer French lessons, as I have for the past four years. I also speak German and English, if needed.

My experience
Throughout my studies, I provided tutoring and homework help to students (from kindergarten to high school). My first language lessons (French) were given during my Erasmus year in Constance, Germany, to adults (beginner or intermediate level).
Finally, I completed a master's degree in Strasbourg, France, and volunteered with the Contact & Promotion association. There, I organized French workshops for newly arrived, non-French-speaking high school students. I also completed an internship with this association and had the opportunity to teach French as a foreign language to a group of adult beginners (FLE), as well as continue teaching in elementary and high school classes.
I have been in contact with a diverse audience; I can work with both children and adults.

My method
I believe that the most important thing for learning a language is practice. That's why I talk a lot with my students, so they get used to understanding and expressing themselves. Depending on their needs and difficulties, I can adapt and design specific lessons and exercises. As for the students, I can help them review lessons, correct exercises (or create new ones), and prepare for exams and assessments.
For adults, simply tell me your expectations and needs (reading, writing, grammar...)!

Contact me for more information!

Eulalia

Hello!

I'm Eulalie from France! I work as a language assistant at a high school in Düsseldorf and would love to share my culture and language with others.

My experience:
Throughout my college years, I tutored and provided homework help to students from elementary school and middle school. I taught my first language classes (French) during my Erasmus exchange in Konstanz to adults (beginner and intermediate level).
Finally, I started a master's degree in Strasbourg (France) and volunteered in an organization. I organized French workshops in middle schools for non-native French-speaking children who had recently arrived in France. I also completed an internship with this organization and had the opportunity to teach French as a foreign language to adults (beginners).
I have worked with a diverse range of students and am equally comfortable teaching children and adults.

My method:
I believe that the most important aspect of learning a language is practice, which is why I talk a lot with my students to help them get used to understanding and expressing themselves. Depending on their needs and challenges, I can adapt and create a personalized lesson plan. For schoolchildren, I can help them review lessons, correct exercises (or create new ones), and prepare for tests...
As for adults, I'm used to working with students who have very specific goals, so I'm open to all your requests (reading, writing, grammar, etc.)!

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

I offer courses that will allow you to overcome the difficulties you encounter in reading or writing by giving you the text-writing toolkit that school, unfortunately, doesn't provide. I myself had to build this toolkit over the years at university, and I will gladly share it with you so that you can succeed.

Here are the different points that my offer covers:

READING
Guided reading
Effective reading strategies
Text theory (structure, function, typology...)
General knowledge
Communication Theory

PRODUCTION
Reformulation

Reading log
Accurate
Text analysis
Characterization
Interpretation

Argumentation

You can take a full course with regular sessions or one-off courses to do specific work such as writing a reading summary.

Lessons can be taken individually or in groups. The methods are flexible to adapt to each individual case.

What matters to me in particular:

motivate my student and give him a learning pace;
encourage their creativity;
to awaken his curiosity;
to forge a friendship with the texts

During this first lesson, you can get a solid idea of my teaching style. I look forward to meeting you.
