As non-Dutch speaking parents, it is certainly not easy to teach your children Dutch or help them become more fluent in the new language. Who wants some extra exercise for their kids? I would like to help you with that. As their vocabulary expands and their sentences become more fluent, your children will become more confident. A good command of the Dutch language is certainly to their advantage, both now and in the future.

Do your children need some help with their homework, especially with their Dutch, then I can help with that.

Even as non-native-speaking adults, it is sometimes difficult to have enough exercise. That is why adults who want to make progress in speaking the Dutch language are welcome here! We can practice the everyday language together. Conversing is the best way to learn a new language.

Anyone want to learn Persian? Then I am here to help you with that. Here too, I mainly work on communication.

Online Persian /Farsi Teacher
Experience in Teaching: since 1990
Certificates: M.A. in Linguistics, B.A in Translations, TESOL/TEFL

I am an Iranian teacher and translator holding a BA in the English Language, an MA in General Linguistics, and also a TEFL. I started teaching in 1990 at schools, language institutes then continued at universities. I have taught both English and Persian (Farsi) to adults and children. In my Farsi classes, the primary goal is to help you increase your overall time spent reading, listening, speaking, and writing Farsi, whatever your current level of proficiency may be. So my teaching package depends on each student’s goal, need, and knowledge of Farsi. I am also a translator. I have translated and published several books from English to Farsi. I also know a little Turkish. Book a lesson with me and give it a try.

What Are My Lessons Like? 💡

My lessons are simple, practical, and designed around your needs and interests.

In our lessons, you’ll do most of the talking! I encourage my students to speak as much as possible, make mistakes, and learn naturally in a friendly and comfortable environment.

I share my screen so we can study the materials together. I also prepare lessons based on your level and goals, using books, audio, pictures, and other useful materials. If you want to learn reading and writing, we can use the app’s whiteboard to practice writing together.

Whether you want to improve your conversation skills, learn the Persian alphabet, or speak Farsi without learning to read and write, we’ll find the best way for you.

Every lesson starts from your goal. Beginners learn the alphabet, reading, writing and everyday conversation. Children of Iranian families learn to read and write through stories and games. Intermediate and advanced learners practise natural conversation, grammar and real texts such as news and short stories. I also help with GCSE Persian, and I teach poetry: Hafez, Rumi, Saadi, Khayyam and Forough Farrokhzad. Lessons are online or face to face in Ealing (West London). After each lesson you get a short note with new words and something to practise.
