I have a masters in Teaching Persian as a Foreign Language. I’m a computational linguist, a translator, and a language-lover with experience teaching different levels. I have more than 6 years of experience teaching English to children aged 3 to 13. I have taught Persian in Iran, Greece and Sweden. In Sweden, I collaborated with Uppsala University and taught Persian in a distance course. To make students be able to communicate and enjoy their time at the lesson is my goal when teaching.

My favourite teaching method is the communicative approach. However, being up-to-date is essential to me, and therefore I always have an eye on the new methods and ideas in language teaching.

Lessons with a focus on conversation are suitable for students who are already familiar with Persian. It is basically a friendly chat for a brush-up on one's Persian speaking/listening skills! We can decide on the subject of the conversation together. This lesson could specifically be useful for those who for any reason forget their Persian, or those who come from an Iranian background but never got a chance to use their Persian because of not living near a native Persian speaker.

Lessons with a focus on reading, writing and/or grammar work for anyone interested in learning Persian, regardless of having any background in Persian. In the grammar lessons you will become familiar with the ins and outs of the Persian language.

I tend not to restrict myself to one or two things since my fields of interest are many. I am an active person with a background in learning and teaching languages, writing, singing, and figure drawing. But above all, I am very good at dealing with and understanding different types of people and paving the way for myself and those I am working with. Persian film script reading comprehension, Listening, Reading and Speaking Skills

For over 20 years, I’ve been closely following Iranian and global cinema. I am very much into the world of good movies and am not biased to a specific genre. This gives my students the chance to have a variety of choices in choosing a movie they’d like to watch. I am a very patient teacher and was given a lot of positive feedback about it by my students. I am also very familiar with Iranian culture, Persian expressions, proverbs and sarcasm. Above all, being fluent in English makes it easy for me to give the best translation/equivalent from Persian to English when reading a film script.

This lesson is designed for students in intermediate level and above. A student should already be able to understand written and spoken Persian reasonably well, so that they can watch and make sense of a piece of a Persian film without subtitles. Then at the lesson all the unclear points will be clarified by reading through the lines of the film script together. Sounds exciting, doesn’t it?

As non-Dutch speaking parents, it is certainly not easy to teach your children Dutch or help them become more fluent in the new language. Who wants some extra exercise for their kids? I would like to help you with that. As their vocabulary expands and their sentences become more fluent, your children will become more confident. A good command of the Dutch language is certainly to their advantage, both now and in the future.

Do your children need some help with their homework, especially with their Dutch, then I can help with that.

Even as non-native-speaking adults, it is sometimes difficult to have enough exercise. That is why adults who want to make progress in speaking the Dutch language are welcome here! We can practice the everyday language together. Conversing is the best way to learn a new language.

My lessons are based on standard conversational (informal) Persian spoken by mainly the middle-class educated people in Iran. I teach in three beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels:

The beginner level is mostly focused on basic grammar and vocabularies and you will learn to make simple sentences and handle basic conversations.
In the intermediate and advanced levels you will gradually learn more vocabularies, will make more sophisticated sentences and will be more confident in communication in Farsi.
In the advance level you will have lessons on particular subjects such as cooking, weather, houses, cities etc and thus you will learn related vocabularies and slang.

All the lessons are designed and written by me and all are supported by plenty of examples from everyday life.

In my class, not only yоu will leаrn Persiаn but yоu will also knоw аbоut аmаzing Irаniаn culture,music, pоetry. You will never get bored during the lessons as I cаn аlsо teаch yоu sоme eаsy sоngs in Persiаn, we will talk about delicious Iranian food ( I am going to give you some recipes in Farsi as a part of lessons) and will even listen to some Persian songs!!
