I cover all aspects of the GCSE and A level English Literature and Language courses, including analysis of set texts, revision and study techniques, and exam preparation. I am very familiar with all the exam boards which assess the English curriculum, and I have a proven track record of helping my students achieve their goals: over 90% of my GCSE students have achieved level 8 or 9, while 95% of my A level students have achieved A/A*. I am a qualified teacher with a PGCE and QTS, meaning I have an extensive toolkit of resources, approaches and strategies to support my students. I have been working in education for eight years across a range of settings and have taught classes of children from Early Years to A level. In addition, I have been tutoring privately for seven years, and I am adept at making my lessons enjoyable, engaging and challenging. Relationships are at the core of teaching and I put the interests, needs and aspirations of my students at the centre of our course of learning.

I cover all aspects of secondary school entrance exam preparation, including advanced Maths and English skills, reading comprehension and creative writing, verbal and non-verbal reasoning, interview practice and exam technique. I am very familiar with the demands of school entrance exams and I have a proven track record of helping my students enter elite schools, including St Paul's, Haberdashers', Merchant Taylors', King's and Emmanuelle. I am a qualified teacher with a PGCE and QTS, meaning I have an extensive toolkit of resources, approaches and strategies to support my students. I have been working in education for eight years across a range of settings and have taught classes of children from Early Years to A level, so I have a strong grasp of the standards expected of children at the end of KS2. In addition, I have been tutoring privately for seven years, and I am adept at making my lessons enjoyable, engaging and challenging. Relationships are at the core of teaching and I put the interests, needs and aspirations of my students at the centre of our course of learning.
