GCSE and A level English Literature and Language by an A* A level student
From 49.9 C$ /h
I received 3 A*'s and got the highest mark in my A-level English class for my coursework and exams. Although, I'm studying a law degree I'm highly passionate about humanities and I hope to do a master degree in English Literature.
I have great experience at working with children and young people. I had weeks of work experience at my local nursery that looked after children before, during and after school. I also volunteered at a primary school for months teaching English and RE. Before lockdown I tutored GCSE students for their upcoming exams in my free-time. I will be providing pre-tasks and homeworks as part of these sessions. I believe that often a student helping another student can be more useful than a teacher's help, because they have taken the exam recently and can share and explain their understanding of the subject in a way that's easier for their peers. This is especially the case with exams becoming increasingly more difficult over the past years and the changes to the grading system.
I am happy to help with students studying English Language and English Literature at both GCSE's and A-levels. I'm also willing to support students with their English Literature A-level coursework as I received full marks in mine.
I'm also happy to look at personal statements as well asp provide support with LNAT (Law admission exam) practice papers to A-level students applying to university.

Due to my personal statement I received an interview from Oxford University. This sessions will help students applying to university improve their personal statements and help them to gain a place at their desired university. I can help the student plan their personal statement from scratch, or review it with them and make small amendments. I read 100s of personal statements from different subjects and helped years below from medicine applicants to students applying to study classics. My aim is to ensure that both a pupil's personality as well as their subject knowledge shine through the 47 lines. I have lots of resources from my past work with companies such as Uniadmissions and Oxbridge applications.
