My First Language is English, and I’m fluent in Afrikaans. I have intermediate level skills in French, and I’m at beginner level in Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic (MSA). Since 2020, I've taught more than 240 lesson hours to students at all levels. My students come from diverse backgrounds and age groups, and are located in various parts of the world, including Canada, Taiwan, France, Tunisia, Senegal and Belgium. My lessons are student-centred, flexible, and fun! Lessons are continuously adapted to suit the individual; every lesson is structured based on learners' needs. The focus of lessons will initially be based on a student needs assessment carried out at the start of your course, and adapted based on your progress and changing needs throughout the duration of a specific course. Learning areas identified may include: * Refining your pronunciation * Practicing everyday language and conversational skills * Exam preparation, focusing on specific grammar and/or vocabulary * Reading comprehension and practice * Writing correction or practice * Job interview preparation * Business vocabulary and speaking practice Lessons are conducted in English, since this has shown to be the most effective way for students to learn a foreign or second language.
