Hi! My name is Stevi, I am from Greece, and I am a certified and experienced teacher of the English language. I have graduated from the University of Athens with a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature and hold an EFL certificate.
During my time in University, I specialized in modern pedagogical approaches to foreign language teaching and gained valuable experience teaching students in a classroom. In addition to this, I have also taught as a tutor.
During our classes, we can focus on improving all skills necessary to build confidence in speaking, writing and listening in English, or focus our attention to specific areas the student may need help with. Classes are always student-focused and tailored to specific needs and goals.
As for me, I am a lifelong language learner myself and therefore it brings me great joy to teach others and help them improve their skills in a language I love and have a deep understanding of, like English!

About Me

As a language major myself, I have always been curious about teaching and helping others discover a new language and its wonders. As a Greek native speaker, I have an in-depth knowledge of the language and I will be happy to help people who are interested in the Greek culture to learn ways to communicate efficiently in Greek.
Studying a language can be challenging, but also very rewarding and engaging; I believe that each student is unique and therefore a personalized approach to teaching is a key priority in my lessons.
We will pay attention to all the language skills (speaking, listening, writing and reading) as well as the cultural background of the language.

My name is Stevi, I am a graduate of the department of English Language and Literature with a minor specialization in Greek philology, and I currently live in Sweden. As shown by my field of studies, I have always been passionate about languages. Learning a new language is opening yourself up to a new world, and if you choose to study Greek with me, we can explore the riches of the Greek culture alongside the language!

Through my university studies, I have gained experience teaching as part of my Teaching Practice courses in Greek schools and I am familiar with educational learning frameworks and their applications, as well as modern teaching methods for language learners. Being a language student myself, I am passionate about making the learning experience for students a unique and rewarding one: I adapt my lessons to the needs of my students, and I try to ensure that they learn in a way that is both fun and engaging.
