English and/ or History Tutoring(primary, GCSE, A-level, and undergrad degree level) .
From 44.37 C$ /h
Both English and History encompass skills of analysis, evaluation, and writing. At the highest levels skills of critical analysis are necessary. For younger ages, foundational ideas of English and History will be explored. For English, teaching can include creative writing, grammar, fiction, and non-fiction text analysis, the sophistication of writing style, and essay writing. These will be tailored to the level and desired focus, for instance, for English literature GCSE we will focus on analyzing the set texts. For History, primary source analysis, critical analysis, essay writing, in-depth period focus, and broad period focus are all options for study. These too will be tailored toward the level of study and desired focus.
Within the class, there are options to either teach, refresh and solidify understanding or revise content. I'm passionate about teaching in a way that matches the learning style of the tutee. For younger children, this may include the use of visuals, songs, or games if desired. I can teach both or one of these subjects at a wide range of levels. I am also able to cover all KS1 and 2 content and certain other GCSE's - feel free to contact me for further information on this.

About Me
I am a current History Russel Group University student. I am very passionate about my subject and have a lot of subject-specific knowledge. I also teach English, something that is extremely important within an essay-based subject.
I know how to educate in an engaging and effective manner at a range of age groups. I like to set goals with the tutee work towards them, and often exceed them. For instance, in the past, I've had a student go from predicted 4's at GCSE to achieving multiple 7's. I'm interested in learning styles, and have the skills to identify these in a student and work to accommodate them. My hours are very flexible. I am ADHD and dyslexia friendly.
Finally, my classes are about you. Whether your goal is simply to improve your knowledge or to achieve an A*, the class will be perfectly tailored for you and your goals.
