About Me
Hi, I'm Lucie!
I've been playing cello and continuously studying music since I was 6 years old.
I was born in Czechia and graduated from Prague Conservatory, currently I live in Holland and I am studying at The Royal Conservatoire in The Hague.
As a student, I have experienced just as many encouraging moments as small personal fails which, I believe, made me an empathetic and understanding teacher. Studying music requires time and certain kind of dedication that mostly comes from the love we have for doing it. As a music lover and a teacher, I can simply promise you to be there and to guide you through the process at all times and make it fun for you!
I can teach in English and Czech.
Hope to meet some more music enthusiasts soon!

Cello is a wonderful instrument and if you wish to start playing or to proceed with your lessons, I will be happy to guide you!
Playing an instrument is a complex art requiring individual approach and timeline. We will go in your own pace and cover all the basics of sitting posture, bow hold and left hand, as much as basics of music theory and rhythm. If you're an advanced player, we will repeat what you've covered already and start with a follow-up!
