I am a multilingual linguist specializing in comparative linguistics, second language acquisition, and language teaching. For more than 15 years, I have taught Chinese, French and Italian to students of different ages, proficiency levels, and linguistic/cultural backgrounds through both private lessons and university courses.

I hold a binational PhD in Linguistics and Language Teaching from Sapienza University of Rome and INALCO (Paris). Throughout my career, I have taught and conducted research in Italy, France, and China. Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ...
