Hello ana Aya! I'm an English tutor based in the UK, and I'd love to help your child feel confident and happy using English. I currently work as a Computer Science teacher here in the UK.

I've always loved reading and learning about languages. I believe the best way to learn a language is to enjoy it, so my lessons are friendly and relaxed, full of conversation, stories and fun activities rather than just grammar drills.

Who are the lessons for?
- Children and teenagers, from beginner to intermediate level
- Students who need support with English at school
- Anyone who wants to speak more confidently and naturally

What we'll work on
- Speaking and listening, with natural British or American pronunciation (whatever you prefer)
- Reading, using stories and books chosen for your child's age and interests
- Vocabulary and grammar, explained simply, step by step
- Writing, and help with school homework

How the lessons work
Lessons take place online by video call, so your child can learn from home. Before we start, I'll get to know your child's level and goals, and then plan each lesson around them. Parents are always welcome to sit in, and I'll keep you updated on how your child is getting on.

If you're in Morocco, we're 0 hour apart, so after-school and weekend lessons are easy to arrange.

I grew up bilingual in English and Portuguese, and I love helping people feel confident using English in real life. My classes are 100% conversation-based: no boring translation lists. Instead, I use mime, pictures, and words you already know to explain new ones, so you start thinking in English naturally.

Tu te débrouilles en espagnol, mais tu répètes toujours les mêmes phrases et tu perds le fil quand on parle vite ?

On travaille pour que tu tiennes une vraie conversation : raconter une histoire, donner ton avis, expliquer un problème, rebondir sur ce que dit l’autre et continuer même quand il te manque un mot.

Comment se passe une séance ?

45 minutes en visio, en tête-à-tête. C’est toi qui parles le plus.
On part de ta vraie vie : ton travail, tes voyages, ta famille, ce que tu dois faire en espagnol cette semaine.
Tu relèves un défi à ta portée. Parfois, je te mets volontairement dans une situation un peu difficile, pour que tu apprennes à t’en sortir.
Tu t’entraînes à te débrouiller quand tu ne trouves pas un mot ou que tu ne comprends pas.
Après la séance, tu reçois un résumé avec tes progrès, jusqu’à 5 nouvelles expressions et un objectif pour la prochaine fois.

Ce n’est pas pour toi si tu es grand débutant, si tu prépares le DELE ou le SIELE, ou si tu cherches des cours bilingues ou en groupe. Je ne donne pas non plus de cours aux mineurs.

Ton niveau est vérifié lors du premier cours.
