This class is designed for parents to learn the basic signs needed to communicate with a toddler. We will learn signs that can be used for everyday needs as well as the alphabet depending on the age of your child.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

I highly recommend getting your whole family involved and learning ASL together. ASL is also a great language skill for young children to learn while just learning to talk as the signs will feel more natural the younger the child is.

This class will help with the drafting, editing, and finalization of college applications and scholarships. We will discuss what to expect when just entering college, where to find those little hidden scholarships, and how to organize your resumes.

I will be graduating from CAC in May and have not paid one penny towards my college degree. I have actually received a check back from the college that was money left over from my scholarships.

Do you want to discover sign language but aren't quite sure about taking classes? I can help you explore the world of this wonderful non-verbal language and its culture! Whether you want to communicate with a Deaf person or are simply curious, whether you have a specific area in mind or not, I adapt to your needs!

about me :
I am currently in my third year of LSFB (UE6) training and intend to complete it before pursuing a Master's degree in interpreting. I am currently a Master's student in English and German translation, so I have experience with language learning. I discovered the world of Sign Language at the age of 11 out of curiosity on YouTube, and since then I have been fascinated by this language that often allows us to express things without words, through the body. I believe this language should be taught in all primary schools, as it is not only useful when you want to communicate with a Deaf person, but also in other situations (noisy places, libraries, in water, when you are far away and don't want to shout, when you have a sore throat, when you don't want to speak...). By learning this language, I have discovered a new side of myself that I love more and more each day.
