I teach English Literature in the manner I was taught at the University of Cambridge, centring on the discipline of practical criticism: accordingly, I emphasise the importance of analysis at the closest level possible. I also have extensive experience teaching the SAT, working at a test prep company in Tokyo specialising in this exam; I believe sets of steps can be established, tailored for each student to allow him or her a clearer and relatively more foolproof way of deconstructing each question type and offering the correct answer.
