Моя педагогическая работа основана на том, чтобы помочь ребёнку освоить русский язык как живой инструмент мышления, самовыражения и понимания себя.

На занятиях мы развиваем не только грамотность и языковые навыки, но и содержательное понимание русской грамматики, обогащаем устную и письменную речь, формируем орфографическую интуицию и учимся глубоко и осмысленно работать с русской литературой.

В качестве основных инструментов я использую авторские методики, а также философию и методологию вероятностного образования, разработанную Александром Лобоком — доктором психологических наук, философом и создателем модели вероятностного образования. В основе этого подхода лежит идея образования как пространства, в котором ребёнок не просто осваивает заранее заданную программу, а выстраивает собственную образовательную траекторию, развивает авторскую позицию и открывает собственные смыслы.

Для меня русский язык — не самоцель. Его изучение должно помогать ребёнку выражать свой уникальный опыт, формулировать мысли и чувства, понимать себя и ориентироваться в собственном внутреннем мире. Поэтому грамматика, правила и школьная программа становятся инструментами для личностного и интеллектуального развития, а не набором материала для механического запоминания.

Особое место в моей работе занимает русская литература. Мы читаем не только для того, чтобы понять, что хотел сказать автор, но и для того, чтобы увидеть, что его текст может значить лично для ребёнка: какие вопросы он помогает исследовать, какие переживания — осмыслить, какие внутренние проблемы — выразить.

Такой подход делает изучение языка одновременно более глубоким и более эффективным. Когда ребёнку действительно интересно говорить, читать и думать на русском языке, языковое развитие происходит естественно и интенсивно.

Моя цель — не просто научить ребёнка русскому языку, а помочь ему сделать русский язык своим собственным инструментом для мышления, общения, творчества и самопонимания.

May 2026: In these neuro-divergent times, the binary division of "one language or two" in bilinguals is perhaps due some contestation, which students are capable of providing. I have always found bilingual production models (and the ubiquitous Powerpoint slide) that university teachers provide a hindrance because of their lack of explicitness and discussion - they are just not relatable as presented nor do they provide much information or examples for monolingual students.

Code-switching, a by-product of bilingualism, is now a term that is even found in minority-ethnic neighbourhood grafitti ("can white people code-switch" a found example). Please note that this is a linguistic term, used for switching between two languages, and not between local or social varieties of English.

My personal position is that there is no such thing as bilingualism: there is always a language that suffers attrition, and one language that prevails, mostly because of its prestigious standing over the other language. On the other hand, a child exposed to more than one language cannot be truly monolingual.

For this course (very popular at universities around Europe both at undergraduate and postgraduate level) we shall go through the terms used to discuss bilingualism, in detail, and then discuss, with the help of published books and articles, who can be considered bilingual (or are we all, one other language lying dormant?). Can bilingualism be defined by the speaker, instead of the "community"? Can it be imposed by the State? Does a bilingual brain function in the same manner as a monolingual brain? These are research questions that emerge as dissertation or thesis topics both at undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

I'm Ghous. I hold an MSc in Electronics and Electrical Engineering with Distinction from the University of Chester, where I teach as a Visiting Lecturer on a Master's module, and I work as a freelance engineer designing circuit boards and writing embedded firmware for clients. I have taken a four layer ESP32 board from schematic to manufactured hardware, built the electrical power system for a CubeSat, and published two international conference papers on running neural networks on microcontrollers. When you ask why your sensor reads nothing or how to justify a design choice in a report, the answer comes from doing this work rather than from a tutorial.

If you own an Arduino kit and have stalled, or you can copy a project but cannot change it, this is the gap I close. We build what you actually want, home automation, data logging sensors, motorised builds, a device that talks to your phone, and underneath it you pick up the real skills: reading a datasheet, using a multimeter, wiring safely and debugging when nothing happens. No technical background required.

University and college students

Embedded systems, microcontrollers, robotics, control systems, circuit analysis and digital electronics. I mark Level 7 work myself, so I know where reports lose marks. Beginners who want to build something real, and students with coursework in Design and Technology, Computer Science or Engineering, whether on GCSE, A Level, IB or a national curriculum. Typical builds are a line following robot, an obstacle avoiding car, a live weather station or a motion triggered alarm. For lessons in Birmingham I bring all the equipment. Parents are welcome to sit in on the first session (UK DBS checked).

How lessons run

Tell me your level and what you want to build, or send your assignment brief, and I plan the session around it before we meet. I demonstrate first, then you take over while I guide, because nobody learns electronics by watching. Online students share a screen and I debug code and wiring photos live. Every session ends with something working and a clear next step, and you can message me between lessons.

Lessons run over Google Meet or Zoom, 60 or 90 minutes. I teach across GMT and Central European time with evening and weekend slots. Online students can start with any board they already own, or I will point you at one starter kit under 30 euros that covers the first several months.
