About Me
Ciao, I am Roberto, I am a Professor of Italian Language in Bangkok at the moment. I have been living and teaching here for 15 years now. I am currently teaching as private teacher and I had held two courses of Italian Language and Culture at Bangkok University International College in Bangkok before. I am very patience and passionate about Italian Language and since I have been living abroad for many years now I know exactly what it means to learn a new language. I had to learn three more languages out of necessity.
In so many years of teaching, now 25, I have accumulated enough experience to teach in different situations, styles and kinds of courses. I have taught a variety of courses and students, from kids to adults.
I believe that learning a new language is one of the biggest challenges a person might aim for, however I also believe that Italian is one of the easiest languages to learn. Reason being a student can start to speak in Italian from day one. Unlike English language or Asian languages, Italian letters of the alphabet keep, in general, the same sound when you put them in a word. Therefore once you learn the sound of the letters of the alphabet, which are less, in number, than the one in English language, you can start reading and so speaking simple words.
The grammar is maybe the biggest issue a student might find in learning Italian language, but that's the job of a good teacher to make it easier to get into grammar rules little by little without make the student feeling overwhelmed...
My classes are always fun and full of activities because I strongly believe that when people enjoy what they're doing they learn faster. I enjoy teaching through games and my main focus is on conversation skills. Once the student feels more confident about the language learning the "boring" rules behind it becomes easier...
So what are you waiting for? Book your fist class and you won't be disappointed...
Please feel free to ask any questions you might have, I'll be very happy to answer all of your questions.
Roberto
