Fashion design for beginners, foundation in fashion design
From 194 C$ /h
A fashion design foundation is an introductory program or core training stage that bridges raw creative imagination with practical garment construction. It teaches beginners how to turn abstract ideas into real, wearable clothes. Ultimately, it serves as the essential launching pad that transforms a passion for style into the professional, technical skills required to thrive in the global fashion industry.

About Me
About Me – Sajani Hansana Pushpawansha
Hello! My name is Sajani Hansana Pushpawansha, and I am from Sri Lanka. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Fashion Design and Product Development at the University of Moratuwa. I also hold a Foundation in Fashion Design qualification from AIBT Kandy Campus.
In addition to my fashion education, I have completed a Diploma in English at the American College of Higher Education, a Certificate in English Grammar and Spoken English, and online courses including Fashion Design Fundamentals and Practices through Alison and Fashion Design for International Markets through the ITC SME Trade Academy.
I am passionate about fashion design, creative development, fashion illustration, textiles, colour theory and sustainable fashion. I enjoy exploring new ideas and understanding how creative concepts can be transformed into wearable designs.
I am interested in helping beginners and aspiring fashion students develop their knowledge and creative confidence through live online lessons. My teaching approach focuses on simple explanations, visual examples, practical exercises and step-by-step guidance.
I would love to share my knowledge, encourage creativity and help students take their first steps into the world of fashion design.
