About Me

I am Edine, also known as Teacher Elly to my students. I am 33 years old and known for being patient, caring, and humorous. My spontaneity and ability to connect with others make me easy to get along with. I am passionate about teaching and enjoy meeting new people.

My academic journey includes graduating from high school in 2008, studying Tourism Management and Culinary Arts, obtaining a Credit Management diploma, and completing a TEFL Level 5 advanced diploma and ESL certificate. I am currently pursuing a part-time Bachelor of Education and Education Psychology.

With 3 years of teaching experience, I have worked with students of various nationalities and ages, including Chinese, Korean, Italian, and Ukrainian. My youngest student was 4 years old, and the oldest was 48. I am also proficient in teaching and working on platforms like Classin, Zoom, and Skype.

I am well-versed in teaching a wide range of courses, including Oxford Grammar, Oxford Discovery, Oxford Phonics World, Oxford Reading Tree, Let’s Go, Raz, Power Up, IELTS, General English, Business English, Kids English, Adult English, Wonderskills, and Think.

My teaching style revolves around an individualized approach tailored to my student's needs and learning abilities. I am flexible in my methods, incorporating a blend of teaching styles to keep engagement and motivation high. I achieved notable success in my previous role with a total physical response, action-based, and game-based learning.
