About Me

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Zhejiang University, and am now pursuing an applied marketing master's at University of Amsterdam. I started doing part-time tutoring during the summer vacation after graduating from high school. Many of my family members were teachers and I grew up under the tutelage of a wide variety of teaching styles and learned the good and bad of each of them.

Some foreign friends around me have reported that they often feel bored in the process of Chinese learning, and find it very difficult and do not know how to start learning. But in my opinion, Chinese learning is an easy and enjoyable thing, the key is to lay a good pronunciation and grammar foundation. When designing the course, I combined the feedback I received from foreign friends, and intended to combine students own interests and hobbies to teach, hoping to allow scholars to make steady progress in the interesting courses and experience the charm of Chinese.

Outside of class, I enjoy cooking, dancing, visiting museums and cycling around the city.

This is the basic version of my Chinese lessons which is suited for motivated learners who are committed to spending 2-4 high quality hours per week for self study outside of the class. The general structure lesson revolves around review from previous sessions, assigned exercises and the new chapter of textbook. It is encouraged to leave questions about the language on Google classroom as well.

It is possible to book 1,5 or 10 lessons per time. Following reservation is ensured when discussed and booked two weeks ahead of time. Meeting time is confirmed minimum 5-7 days in advance and cancellation is free until 3 days before.
