This course will provide a sweeping overview of auditing. Special attention will be given to the nature and economic purpose of audits, auditing standards, professional ethics, auditor's legal liability, the study and evaluation of internal control, the nature of audit evidence, forensic auditing, and auditing techniques.

Topics covered include the accounting cycle, cash, accounts receivable, inventory transactions, long-term assets and liabilities, contributed capital, the statement of cash flows, and financial statement analysis.

About Me

I am writing to express my experience and knowledge in the Accounting and Auditing with more than 11 years of experience. I am a certified auditor, member in LACPA. You need someone who is highly organized and effective and who can remain positive and pleasant. I believe my experience and education serves me well.
In my previous capacity as an Audit Manager & Accounting Manager, I accurately maintained multiple ledgers within different accounting software while self-managing multiple projects. I have experience for compiling the company's financial statements.
I have also worked in several customer service roles over the years prior to receiving my post-secondary education, allowing me to develop excellent communication and conflict resolution skills. I am proficient in accounting software including, but not limited to, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Doc and sheet and various other tax and accounting software.
Having worked on many teams and as a people-oriented person, I am very enthusiastic about the possibility to work with a team while managing sole responsibilities.
