This class is for beginners or intermediate aspiring home cooks. My goal is to teach you how to cook original and traditional Italian recipes. You will learn cooking techniques, how to properly cut, the base for the most common dishes, how to add extra flavor and how to amaze your family and friends, cutting down the cost and all in a fun cooking environment. If you are an absolute beginner, don't worry, my seven-year-old nephew is able to make most of these recipes.

Being a pianist and a piano teacher, I already have lots of experience with teaching and pedagogical approach with the whole range of ages.

The lesson is intended to meet the student needs: the focus can be on the grammar, conversation or literature. In case of a middle-level speaker, the lesson will cover all four language's abilities: listening, speaking, writing and reading. If you wish to brush up your Italian, resume a past series of lessons, or simply start from scratch learning Italian, this is the right lesson for you! I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.
