About Me
Hi! My name is James. I am originally from America, but I moved to Liverpool for University. I study History here at the University of Liverpool, and I am in my third year of studies. Currently, I hold a 1:1 degree, and I am on track to graduate in July with a high 1:1. I have written more essays than I can count at University, and regardless of whether or not I felt enthusiasm for writing some of them, I have used and developed my writing skills in the process in order to achieve high marks. Writing is an important skill, but like all skills, if you don't practice it, then you won't succeed at it. But I want all writers to succeed! I want them to achieve their personal goals and feel proud of the writing that they create.
Education
I graduated from High School with a 4.0 GPA, and graduated Valedictorian. My school was small, so I do not wish to flatter myself too much by that fact. My graduating class had only 22 people, but I moved to the University of Liverpool to pursue higher education where there are 30,000+ students (Quite a jump). I am pursuing a BA History at the University of Liverpool and currently have a 1:1. However, I plan on leaving academia after I graduate to pursue an alternate career, but the skill of writing will remain as a lifelong benefit.
Experience / Qualifications
I have written dozens and dozens of essays. I began proper academic writing in 2018 when I was in High School, and I scored the highest in my year on my final research paper. I have since written an 8,000 word research essay, numerous 2,000 to 4,000 word essays, as well as 500 word short essays. I have experience with adapting my mode of writing to specific instructions and constraints, as well as free forming ideas and creating topics from which I base my own independent research.
