Originally, I am an art teacher from China and got a Master's degree in Finland. I am inspired by cross-cultural life and learning experience here and focusing on cross-cultural education of art and language.

Chinese is a language, but also a sign back to the ancient. In my class, I will introduce to you the roots of the Chinese characters and also the art and culture related, for example, the original meaning of the character signs, the basic way of writing, the relationship between the characters and the traditional paper cutting crafts...

Each class you will get to learn about 20 characters under a theme. You will get inspired by these pictograms created thousands of years ago. Of course, your interests will be the first and most important priority.

Who hasn't dreamed of having beautiful handwriting?

Handwriting may be increasingly relegated to the background of education, but it remains a fundamental skill. Being able to write legibly with good letterforms is the first step to beautiful handwriting, which is still an important social marker today.

It is by mixing reminders of theory - often approached too quickly when learning to write at school, then forgotten - and practical exercises, that everyone can considerably improve their pen. The holding of the pen is not negligible.

If the primary purpose is the aesthetics of writing, the activity allows the development of otherwise neglected motor skills.

It is clear that the role of a teacher in a language class goes beyond just clarifying and teaching the language because language is intricate and is linked with real life, and is therefore not straightforward. Terms in any language are most of the time connected to its sociological usage rather than just its linguistic function.
