ABOUT ME
With over two decades of versatile experience as a producer, actor and public speaker, I bring a wealth of industry insights and practical expertise to our coaching journey. As an actor I have starred in feature films, TV series, and commercials. My own acting accolades include awards for my performances, such as Best Actor at The Mac Film Festival for my role in the international short film "Cinnamon."

Now I've dedicated myself to nurturing the next generation of creators and actors. My teaching philosophy is grounded in a holistic approach, blending proven methodologies such as Chekov, The Method, and Meisner techniques tailored specifically for on-camera acting.

Having conducted private TV and film acting classes and served as a film acting coach for esteemed production houses, including Hollywood based Muse Productions, I've honed my ability to inspire, guide, and mentor aspiring talents.

I believe in fostering an environment that encourages experimentation, growth, and self-expression, empowering students to discover their unique voice and hone their craft with confidence. I'm committed to providing personalized guidance and mentorship every step of the way.

With over two decades of experience in the entertainment industry, I'm deeply passionate about storytelling and guiding others to unleash their creative potential. As a producer, actor, educator, and public speaking expert, I've had the privilege of working across various mediums, from film and television to live performance.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I'm also a dedicated advocate for sports and fitness, finding balance and inspiration in staying active. As a father of three children, I cherish family time and the joy of watching them grow and thrive.

My name is Vanessa and I am an actress, teacher and producer currently based in London, United Kingdom.

As well as training and performing within the Theatre industry since 2011, I have also taught art disciplines such as acting, singing and dance and dance fitness from the ages of 3 upwards. Some of my performance credits include, Motown The Musical, Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Hairspray and Legally Blonde to name a few.

For those that have a keen passion for entering into the Theatre industry, I am able to use my experience to offer professional training across all disciplines and help equip them with tools needed to thrive as a performer.

Similarly, for those that enjoy the arts as an extra curricular hobby/space to express themselves creatively, I take pride in holding a creative self space to help my students to unlock self confidence, self belief and their broader imagination as well as strengthening skills such as teamwork, singing, dancing and acting.

I am able to hold online classes and work to an international timezone to reach all my students and for those based in London and prefer face to face lessons, I'm able to rent studios or arrange home visits where requested.

I am a professional actress and movement director and I deliver one-to-one drama tuition sessions and full day workshops that are tailored to suit your individual needs. I have worked as an acting teacher and public speaking coach for all age groups (from ages 3 - 80!) for 24 years and it is a great passion and privilege of mine to assist in this way, seeing my students' evolution.

I have both a diploma and a degree in Acting (LAMDA, Associate Acting Diploma/ Rose Bruford, BA Hons Acting) and I have trained with Gecko physical theatre company. As well as performing for decades on stage and on screen, I have also run The Bedlam Bunch Children's Theatre and Entertainment since 2007, through which I have written and directed numerous stage plays as well as interactive, immersive shows for children aged 3 - 9 years. I also founded and ran Outburst Theatre from 2010 - 2019 as a platform to bring communities together in South East London via educational theatre projects. As a solo artist, I have written and produced three one-woman stage shows - "Raw Cake", "Through the Hourglass" and "The Wonky Shonky Show" - all performed in London, UK.
