About our partnership with Hollywood

Hollywood Actor's Showcase and Richie's Acting Workshop is one of the best-known, most influential acting schools in the United States. After 30 years of training for aspiring actors and Hollywood stars (including Scarlett Johansson and Drew Barrymore), she teamed up with Belgium's Badass Intensive Acting Studios last year to expand European. The goal is simple: to bring the authentic energy of Hollywood to Europe, so that even people who cannot afford to move to America themselves can receive the same education.

There are not many acting courses that focus on acting in front of the camera. After all, most schools teach you — implicitly or explicitly — theater techniques and while the art of acting itself remains central, it should be clear that acting for TV and film requires slightly different skills, as it usually involves subtler, smaller expressions and movements. . Film connoisseurs therefore know that the camera tends to notice the smallest emotion.

The most minuscule micro-expressions, the least obvious 'subtext' and the most layered interpretations are visible on both the large and the small screen.

I've taught with the most reputable children's musical theatre organizations in NYC with students of all ages as well as private students and I've worked with Broadway stars such as Laura Osnes, Karen Mason and Ron Bohmer, who have also recorded my music, and I'm excited to bring my 20 yrs of teaching experience to Berlin! Partendo dagli elementi essenziali della Comunicazione, le lezioni di APS (Acting Public Speaking) integrano nello specifico del parlare in pubblico molti degli elementi base della recitazione, in una modalità che parte dall'esperienza diretta dell'insegnante.
Lavoreremo quindi sui “classici" elementi base della Comunicazione (verbale, non verbale, paraverbale), nonché sulla preparazione di un discorso pubblico: scegliere i contenuti, le fonti, il setting, e molti degli altri aspetti che rendono un discorso in pubblico un discorso efficace.

Il mio approccio attoriale pone l’attenzione sul respiro, l’uso della voce, le basi di dizione (articolazione ed elementi di ortoepia), l’ascolto e l’osservazione di se stessi e degli altri, la memorizzazione, il corpo, la postura, il contatto col pubblico.
Fai arrivare i tuoi contenuti in una conversazione, in un colloquio di lavoro, una conferenza, un esame, un'interrogazione, una recita (amatoriale e non), quando leggi un tuo scritto! Respira, ascolta, parla al tuo pubblico usando tecniche attoriali.
Divertiti parlando in pubblico. Se ti diverti tu, si divertirà anche chi ti ascolta, e ti ascolterà più volentieri, anche se l'argomento è serissimo!
D’altronde: chi, più di un attore... Ah, l’ho già detto... Ma... ti ho detto che c’è anche da divertirsi..?
