As a PHD specializing in Applied Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence, I bring a wealth of expertise in the intersection of mathematics and cutting-edge computational models. My research centers on the development and implementation of deep learning-based systems, with a specific focus on neural network operators for image or signal processing. I have over fifteen years of teaching experience in mathematics at different respected universities.
Extra information
I am enthusiastic to impart the insights and expertise cultivated during my professional journey in mathematics. My lessons equip learners with the essential skills to construct your own mathematical background and experience, fostering a deep understanding of the intersection between mathematics and Artificial Intelligence.

Often times in Math and Science subjects, students end up feeling lost because they didn't fully grasp a fundamental concept or gain enough confidence in using it. Classes often have a strict schedule to follow, which does not allow them the flexibility of revisiting concepts a student may have missed. Rather than marching on at an unstoppable pace, I place focus on figuring out what gaps in knowledge a student might have and addressing those first, to ensure their foundation is strong enough to always know what the next step is.

My goal is to teach a student how to use their pre-existing knowledge to be able to analyse new concepts and to develop their problem solving and inference skills. Being able to consistently figure out what you don't know and what you can figure out is the basis of strong learning and problem solving skills, and I aim to make this approach a second nature for my students.

Furthermore, knowing what inevitably needs to be memorized (and how to drill this information into your brain) and what can be easily reconstructed from a problem's given information and what you know, are, in my opinion, the cornerstones of efficient study and test-taking skills. Instilling this concept into my students' processes is another of my major goals.

As for whom this class may suit: I can teach Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics from an elementary school level to the university level (depending on the exact subject), and can teach Chemistry up to the high school senior level. If you are unsure about whether a topic or class falls into this range, please feel free to message me!
