About Me
My name is Maggie and I am a soon-to-be masters student located in the United States. I have a background in tutoring, academic support, English, history, and media. Since the start of COVID, I have found creative ways to support students and families as they navigate the trauma of a global pandemic without allowing professional and personal development to be ignored. I take the approach of meeting students where they are both personally and academically. I adjust my teaching style and lesson planning to each student in order to address strengths and areas for growth. As an educator with ADHD and anxiety, I am able to adapt lessons to any learning difficulties and help students with different abilities thrive. I do believe in accountability and transparency. I will be open about any challenges during our lesson, and I will expect the same from you. Any dishonesty or cheating will hurt your growth through my courses while creating bad habits that will lead to poor preparation for the future.
