I have taught English for many years and will be in Nimes between the 18th and 28th of September.

I can offer hourly classes or longer, immersive-style tuition in English. I would be delighted to invite students of all ages and abilities to my residence, in the heart of the historic city, to help with the following:

* Everyday, conversational English
* Improve or help shape business presentations, delivered in English
* Preparation for English exams: oral/grammar/set literature texts etc
* Help with translation from French into English of papers/documents/advertising materials

Discount can be offered for blocks of lessons booked in advance. For business projects I am happy to travel to the client's city address.

Should students/businessmen or women wish to come to England for residential courses at a later date, details can be provided. These include accommodation plus meals, in a beautiful house plus gardens, one-to-one English teaching plus tours of the scenic region of Devon. We offer these courses in the historic and vibrant, university city of Exeter, within easy reach of London by fast train services plus buses.

Prior to starting any work, I would do a short assessment, to establish the standard & level of spoken English & the requirements of the individual's needs.

About Me

I pride myself on getting to know each individual student, whether they are just embarking on their journey with English, or needing to perfect a good standard already achieved.

Over the years I have taught young and old, and always get a huge sense of fulfillment, enabling those individuals to gain confidence in a language that can open many doors! I studied French and German as a student and cannot express how wonderful these gifts have been for me, in friendships, widening my knowledge and in my career.

I also was a TV broadcaster for many years and delivered media training courses. Anyone wanting similar courses or help with presentation skills to international, English speaking audiences, I'd be delighted to assist.

We also offer residential courses in our home in Exeter, Devon in the southwest of England. These are tailor made to students and business people, wanting specific training. We can provide fine cuisine and tours around the region. London is 2 hours by train.
