Trusted teacher: Originally from Luxembourg and holder of a baccalaureate section L (with honors), I subsequently obtained a master's degree from Columbia University in New York in 2017. After three years spent in London and two years in New York, I fluent in English. I also have a perfect command of French (mother tongue level). I have been giving private lessons in English and French since 2011 whether in New York, London, Luxembourg or Paris. In Paris, I was able to gain additional experience with the HeyProf, Conversation Studio and Speaking Agency training organizations. I have taught students of all ages (from 5 years old to 80 years old) and coming from very different fields (school, academic, professional, private). I also helped several students to pass the bac tests and the ironing tests. I also worked as an educational advisor with the Moonkeys organization, which offers educational workshops in English and French to children aged seven to fifteen. I set up a storytelling workshop around the principles of storytelling, script and character creation by integrating digital tools such as stop motion and video editing. I regularly correct essays and dissertations (license and master's level), articles (especially for scientific journals) as well as cover letters. Group or individual lessons are structured around oral and written expression and comprehension and aim at the same time as an initiation into English and French culture. In the past, I have been able to combine a multitude of teaching methods and tools (especially digital) that I have been able to discover through my posts in different English and French speaking countries. In this context, I knew how to put in place methodologies focused on the specific needs of each student that allowed them to take exams such as the TOEIC, IELTS, or TOEFL, as well as the end-of-year exams. secondary studies, competitions and exams. I prefer interactive, oral-based lessons which allow you to establish any lexical or grammatical gaps and correct them later. I am able to adapt to a wide variety of student profiles and to coordinate extremely flexible course flows. I accept all levels and I am very flexible in terms of schedule.

Trusted teacher: Talking, singing, reciting, making sounds puts us in a vulnerable position. These situations of representation arouse all kinds of emotions: fear, restraint, anxiety, stage fright, disappointment, anger, discouragement, panic Taking the time to feel, to receive the emotions that emerge in us, is the cornerstone of the art of singing. As this experience is lived and relived, a comfort settles in us. It is a moving, liberating experience to discover your voice and let go of inhibitions in the face of your personal expression. Together, we will learn in a fun way and through breathing exercises, vocal and body stretching, to take advantage of this magic “organ” that is the voice, to evolve. Thanks to this personal approach, the relationship with oneself and life changes. The voice changes, it is better experienced, better loved, and the feeling of strangeness experienced in front of it disappears. The personality of the individual is integrated into speech and the arts of expression. "Singing, this art that repairs! »Experience and training: - 1 st prize in song - opera, flute, music by chamber at the Royal Conservatories of Music of Brussels and Mons, B. - soloist at the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie, Brussels. - Invited by the Lille Opera, F., then by the Vlaamse Opera Van Gent, for a solo recital. - professor of musical awakening and instrument making within the Jeunesses Musicales of Brussels and Brabant Wallon. - trainer of child leaders, graduated by ICC, Brussels. - professor of song, choral song, flute, musical awakening, in academies and private schools. “The voice has a special fascination because it is an instrument that everyone has, and that it depends on the physical and emotional state of the artist. Trusted teacher: The students I support are 200% supported, during and between our lessons. Parents can contact me at any time to take stock. It is about restoring confidence, empowering and instilling a taste for efficient work. The purpose of the first meeting is to get to know the student and determine his current level in mathematics, what are his strengths and weaknesses, and what are the objectives to be achieved. From the observation, I establish with the student and his parents an educational assessment (notions to be reviewed as a priority, working method, duration and frequency of lessons) aimed at best meeting the student's objectives. Our weekly meetings aim to unblock the student, show him the systematic nature of each question and help him understand why it is necessarily such a formula or such property that applies, and how to write it rigorously in control. We work directly on DST topics to familiarize ourselves, well in advance, with the questions and problems that lie ahead on D-Day. METHODOLOGY First of all I learn about the resources available to the student (lessons from his teacher, exercises, supervised homework, homework ...) in order to see with him what is causing him problems. Then for each problem encountered, I suggest that he try to find a solution with clues. If he still can't find it then I show him a solution and then I make him discover variants. At each stage of my demonstrations, I invite the student to ask me questions to make sure he understands. Then at the end of each session I suggest additional exercises. Indeed, at the end of each session, I give a few exercises of a level of difficulty similar to those covered during the course to allow the student to review the concepts seen together and to permanently assimilate his course. In case of difficulty, the student can send me an email or call me at any time so that I can help him from one session to another. So know that you are not "cut out" for math. Whatever your "predispositions", with good supervision you can succeed! Interested? No situation is hopeless. Contact me ! Mathematically, Houda

I had a great experience with Karla! She directly understood my needs and focused on the right topics. Also she does a good prepation work so that classes are interactive and cover various topics (which is also helpful to learn new vocabulary). Last but not least, Karla is a very nice person, very friendly so I can only recommend her!
