About Me:

I'm from India and moved to Basel to pursue my Bachelor’s in Jazz. I've always had a passion for teaching, and now I’m studying for my Master’s in Pedagogy at Jazzcampus.

I’ve performed on stage for many years, learned instruments from different cultures, and taught in an institution both online and in-person. As a freelancer over the past 7 years, I’ve had the chance to teach a wide range of students.

Teaching methodology:

My goal as a teacher is always to understand the individual needs of each student from multiple perspectives and to build a curriculum that works for them. I strive to recognize the student's relationship with music and gauge how deeply they wish to explore different topics. Additionally, it is important for me to consider the cultural aspect of teaching, as I have worked with both students and teachers from diverse backgrounds.

Another key element of my teaching approach is gathering feedback from students, learning from them, and understanding how I can support their growth. Fortunately, I have been surrounded by other teachers with whom I regularly exchange ideas and methods to benefit both myself and my students.

I am always interested in meeting new people and exchanging ideas, and always look forward to starting a new journey with each student.

I offer lessons in English, German, and Hindi.

- ABOUT THE PROF -
Professional musician with more than 10 years of experience, I specialize in contemporary music, with an orientation in rock and blues derivatives. The atmosphere of my classes aims to be benevolent and relaxed, and I will listen to your needs in order to accompany you as best as possible.

From 2010, I took private guitar lessons at the BBM74 music school in Neuchâtel, with which I took part in several tours in the region.

In 2013 I formed a Rock n 'Roll trio from the 50s and 60s, with which we scoured concert halls, festivals, bars, and private parties throughout French-speaking Switzerland.

In 2018, I decided to go to England for 3 years where I obtained a Bachelor at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London, and joined various live and studio projects. I had the opportunity to study all aspects of modern music with renowned teachers and musicians such as Martin Goulding (Guitar Techniques, Total Guitar, Guitar World) or Nate Williams (Jamiroquai).

I am also a composer for films and other media, disciplines that I studied with Audrey Riley (Muse, Coldplay, Foo Fighters).

It is on the strength of these many experiences that I offer you a holistic method allowing you to acquire the essential skills you will need, whatever your pretensions and your projects.

With several years of touring and teaching experience. I have been teaching to students of all ages for more than 15 years, and for 6 years I held several courses in a public music school in Taino - Italy.
I have been playing live with my band and toured for years in Italy and Europe. With the band, I recorded 2 full albums and 3 EPs.
I graduated in 2006 in “Modern Guitar” at Centro Professione Musica (CPM) in Milan.
