About Me

WhiTe is a life artist, musician and composer.

Study albums (The Region, Always in Front of Me, Eight Lunar Cycles, Personal Diary: Without Words, The Flower Is Born); Eps (Vestigios de un amor, Las andanzas de Chilita); Singles (Brushes, Behold and Love, The morning).

Initially, he researched the universe of the guitar as a self-taught guitar and then studied in the academic field with great teachers such as María Herminia Antola de Gómez Crespo, Oscar Migueles, Juan Falú, Roberto Calvo, Sebastián Henriquez and Carlos Moscardini at the Manuel de Falla Conservatory of Music.

It is characterized by the search for a sound that expresses beauty using the technique of fingers, nails and fingertips.

He investigates, plays and experiments with poetry, going through different aesthetic styles in search of sincerity in the words of the word.

His compositions cover ensemble music, classical music, Argentinian folk music, MPB, jazz rock, rock, psychedelic rock, pop, among other styles that converge at a point of his person making him a unique sculptor of sound.

He is a multi-instrumentalist who has recorded drums, percussion, electric bass, among others for various studio albums.

He has composed the original music for the children's play Cuando la Marta canta, a play that represents the childhood and life of one of the most representative voices and artists in the world, Mercedes Sosa.

In 2019 he received the subsidy of promotion from the Inamu (National Institute of Music), an economic support to encourage the artist's creations.

In September 2023 he presents his first book Sistema musical Cor Leonis -the music of the stars- in which, and as a game, the author combines mathematics, astronomy and music.

In November 2023 he presents his latest album entitled – Nace la flor -. A concept album where the poetic conceptual pillar is love.

At the beginning of 2024 he travels to the cities of Granada, Barcelona and Madrid, Spain, for more than two months presenting his new repertoire of songs both in exclusive concerts.

He is currently presents the first single by WhiTe project titled The morning with great collaboration by Tycho van Kippersluis on electric guitar with a beautiful cover art by Melanie Veltman.

I am a graduate of the Royal College of Music in London, where I lived since 2009.

Individual lessons enables me to tailor and adapt my teaching to every pupil's needs; helping them to learn the repertoire or skills that each individual requires. I cover styles such as classical, contemporary, pop, jazz and film music.

I have prepared and entered pupils entry exams/auditions of conservatoires and music colleges of Spain and Europe as well as for composition competitions as I have won more then 30 awards myself and have been adjudicator of some composition competitions. I was also a professor in the Music faculty at Madrid's 'University Centre TAI', the Trinity Music Academy in London and The Conservatoire of Barcelona

I offer lessons in guitar/bass, piano/keyboard (classical/experimental/pop/jazz), composition/songwriting, production/recording (DAWs, mixing, editing etc). No matter what level we're on, as musicians and artists we're all part of a wonderful and strange ongoing human project, and I believe that it's my duty to share the knowledge and skills that I've accumulated throughout the course of my life and career.

Over the years, my work has branched out in many different stylistic directions but I am firmly rooted in avant-garde/classical music. I hold two degrees in composition: a Master of Music '11 from the Yale School of Music where I also taught undergraduate lessons in composition; and a BA in Music Composition from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, Sweden ('09). I've written large scale works for orchestra, chamber pieces, solo music for a variety of instruments, works with multichannel electronics, and works for theater and dance. For those interested, my recorded work is easily accessible online on a variety of labels and my scores are available from Schott Music New York.

As a pianist, I began formal training at age 6 and worked through much of the classical repertoire before deciding to focus fulltime on composition. I am also an accomplished studio musician, improviser (jazz/free/experimental), and a member of several groups/ensembles.

A firm believer in the use of intuition as a primary tool in music making of all kinds, I would like our lessons to be shaped according to your needs and interests. No matter what level you are on, my goal will always be to offer you exactly what you need at each given step. I treat each student as a unique collaborative effort.

Apart from technical and aesthetic approaches, it is usually very difficult and takes a long time to find one's 'voice' as a performer, writer or producer; this is inevitable except in rare cases, and I will endeavour to teach you to trust in your own abilities, overcome insecurities and doubts, and connect your artistic practice with a more unified mindset that goes beyond imagined technical and stylistic limitations and aesthetic policing. The main point is to eradicate unnecessary obstacles to your creativity and learn to trust your intuition and choices.

Learning about violin playing from theory to performance, how to position right and left hand, how to check and improve intonation, how to practice various techniques and solve different kind of technical problems.
We can work on standard violin school textbooks, from basic exercises through scales, studies to simple pieces and then to more demanding violin pieces like concertos and sonatas.
