Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level, interests, and goals—whether they are just beginning their musical journey or preparing for advanced ensembles and auditions.
Students will develop strong fundamental skills, including tone production, technique, breath control, articulation, and sight-reading. Repertoire is selected to build both confidence and musical expression, with opportunities to explore a wide range of styles. About Me
Hi! My name is Jacob, I am a music education and composition major at Westminster College specializing in saxophone and woodwinds. I am excited to be able to provide my assistance/knowledge to anyone seeking to further their study of music. Music has been my passion for years and i want to share that love and passion with others by hopefully giving to the next generation of musicians the same love for music that I have. In this class I will provide students at any age range/skill level music theory lessons, tutoring, and test preparation for anyone seeking personal growth or academic success. The class will be heavily influenced by the student and I will fit the needs for that student depending on what they need. I will have notes, presentations, assignments, and more to help in the development of the student. This class can be an introduction into the world of music theory or a tutor who need some kind of assistance. This class can also cover music composition lessons and feedback for whatever level of composition you are looking to do.
