I am a qualified primary school teacher, with a passion for seeing children develop and reach their full potential! Teaching is so rewarding as you see children learn and understand something new.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Education. I completed my degree over 15 years ago. And have taught in schools since then. I am a native English speaker who loves teaching children!

Experience / Qualifications

Over 10 years of teaching experience. I also have a TEFL certificate and a certificate of attendance for a course on teaching the Cambridge primary curriculum.

I have international experience* teaching English from Grade 3 to Grade 12 and adults. I have a particular interest in the teaching of reading. For older students I like to make use of articles from newspapers and other sources.

Now that I've graduated, I'm ready to make my mark in education, as a teacher. I have been so inspired my former teachers both in high school and studying. It's my goal to ignite that spark in young minds, so they can continue to make a difference in the world. I chose to teach because I belive in the power of education. It's about building confidence, instilling a love for learning, and helping students discover their potential.

As a teacher, I aim to create an inclusive and safe classroom where each student can thrive. I see myself as a guide, supporting students on their unique learning journeys by understanding their backgrounds and needs.
