Hello, my name is Benoit, I am a jazz & contemporary music guitarist and guitar teacher for more than 15 years in music schools, associations and at home. I studied Jazz at the Boulogne-Billancourt Conservatory and graduated from the American School Of Modern Music. I seek with my lessons to develop your desire to make music and your creativity. My courses and content will allow you to immerse yourself in an exciting practice. Pleasure and requirement are the keywords of my learning method. You will quickly be able to play a current, rich and varied repertoire. In addition to private lessons, I provide you with free videos, scores & tablatures. Who are the classes for? Children: From 7 years old, learning notes in a playful and progressive way. We explore music theory, tablatures, rhythm and melody thanks to card games specially developed for the youngest: recognition, 7 families, pair games, Memory, etc. Your child discovers the instrument and the technique while being able to quickly play familiar tunes! Classes usually last 30 minutes. Teen: The goal is not to spend too much time on the theoretical aspect of music theory (reading notes etc.) but to see the basic techniques of the instrument in order to be able to play and have fun quickly. From the first lessons you will play the pieces of your choice, I will guide you and accompany you. Pleasure and satisfaction guaranteed! Adults: Have you always dreamed of learning to play the guitar? You played when you were young and want to get back to it? Did the "conservatory" method disappoint you or does it not suit you? My approach and my experience will allow you to learn or deepen the instrument and your knowledge at your own pace thanks to a multitude of pieces, scores, playbacks and tutorials. This will help you to develop or perfect the essential techniques for playing the guitar and also to play a repertoire to your liking. Classes usually last 60 minutes. If you are self-employed or have flexible working hours during the day, I can come to your place of work. I can also give video lessons to coach you or if you are on the go. For what levels? Beginner: You quickly take the instrument in hand, I guide you to acquire in a few sessions the technical gestures and the basic notions in order to be autonomous with your guitar. Intermediate: You develop a repertoire in line with your tastes and desires. I advise you and challenge you to make you progress. Advanced: You improve your technique thanks to the study of statements of reference guitarists and different Jazz / Rock / Blues / Gypsy styles such as: John Scofield, Wes Montgomery, Peter Bernstein, George Benson, Django Reinhardt etc... Together we work on the writing and the balance of musical phrases, chord sequences, notions of tension and resolution, which will allow you to create your own music and refine your style. I advise you on the right software and musical software (writing/Sibelius, tabalture/Guitarpro, Recording/Ableton, creation/Reason etc...) How are the lessons going? Face to face, at your home, mine, or video, I adapt to your possibilities and your wishes. Those who wish to meet other musicians can join a group. I also organize courses (between 8 and 10 people) during school holidays, on various subjects: Deepening your repertoire, improvising with pentatonics, group games, picking techniques, etc. Do not hesitate to contact me if you want more information! Musically & see you soon! Benoît ♫

Pianist for over 12 years, I help beginner and intermediate students to progress on the piano and enjoy playing their favorite pieces. . Music styles: - Pop/contemporary music (Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Imagine Dragons, Yiruma, Yann Tiersen, Ludovico Einaudi, etc.) - Classical music (Bach, Chopin, Beethoven, etc.) - Film music (La La Land, Titanic, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc.) - French pop music (Francis Cabrel, Jean-Jacque Goldman, etc.) . My teaching method: - Beginner level: my work is based on the book "J'apprends le piano tout simplement" by Christophe Astié, a simple and progressive method for learning the basics of piano (reading sheet music, music theory, playing with two hands, chords, etc.). Once some basic skills have been acquired, we can begin to learn the pieces you wish for. - Intermediate level: Instruction is personalized based on the pieces you wish to learn. I will guide you through reading sheet music, interpreting the piece, and improving your technique, while providing you with tailored theoretical knowledge. The goal is to enable you to play your favorite pieces with fluidity and confidence. . Location: At home (Antony and surrounding areas - Nanterre and surrounding areas) . Limited availability: I still have a few slots available for Saturday afternoons and Sundays. To book lessons, please contact me by message on this platform. See you soon at the piano! Daniel ------------------ - My students' opinions - (translated in English) "My daughter Louane (10 years old) has been taking piano lessons with Daniel for 8 months now, and the progress she's made is incredible. She really enjoys playing, and it shows in her motivation and consistency. What we particularly appreciate is Daniel's gentleness and kindness, as well as his teaching style, which is very child-friendly. Louane can choose the pieces she likes, which makes her even more involved, and music theory is naturally integrated into the learning process. It's an approach that's both fun and effective. Thank you for your patience and your infectious passion!" - Nathalie C. "Excellent teacher, excellent teaching style! My son has progressed much more this year than in previous years. Daniel is patient and adapts to his student's needs. I recommend him 100%." - François M. "After playing the piano for 4 years and then stopping for 21, I decided to take piano lessons with Daniel since August 2024. I quickly noticed progress and I recommend him for his professionalism, kindness, and friendliness. I also appreciate being able to choose the pieces I want to learn." - Marjolaine.

I have traveled around the globe which has led me to speak several languages and also to work in particular in England, Australia, Spain or the Dominican Republic. Basically I start the lessons by talking with my students about a bit of everything (in order to enrich the vocabulary). Depending on the level I adapt with files that are sent during the course. I also use the Callan method which works on repetition in order to properly assimilate useful words and phrases. All in a positive way :) Tell me your availability if you're interested for a first lesson. At worst it will have made you practice, at best you improve! Regards

This class is for students of any age who wish to learn the transverse flute. Learning an instrument takes time and commitment, but it's hugely rewarding - and it doesn't have to be boring! I have experience teaching students of all age and levels and I specialise in tailoring my teaching to meet the individual needs of each student. Beginner flute lessons are suitable for students learning from scratch or those already playing up to about ABRSM Grade 2 level. In beginner flute lessons, you will learn the fundamentals of making a sound and play your first notes, as well as the basics of reading music. As lessons progress, you will learn your first short pieces and maybe even prepare for graded exams. Intermediate lessons are suitable for students already playing at about ABRSM Grade 3 to Grade 5 levels. In these lessons, you will build on what you already know to expand your abilities on the flute. You will learn more about different musical styles and techniques and develop more confidence to express yourself through music. Advanced lessons are for students already playing at about ABRSM Grade 6 and beyond. Depending on each student, lessons could involve growing more skills to take the advanced grade or diploma exams exams through to learning the skills to put together a recital programme or prepare for a music college audition. There is wide scope in these lessons to focus on your areas of interest, while still keeping an eye on the solid foundations of good flute technique and musicianship.

Sometimes we doubt ourselves and what we are capable of. That's human. However, I want you to be able to see yourself for who you really are and what you bring to the table. Confidence building is important for all age groups. It can help a child of 10 years old be able to come out of their shell, see what they are capable of, and find their own voice. It can do the same for a teenager who has experienced trauma and now does not know where they fit, how they move forward or who they truly are anymore. It can help all people, in all walks of life. Through building one's confidence and finding their own voice and who they are, they get the beautiful chance to experience life to the fullest without letting fear and anxiety of what others will think hold them back.

I trained at ICMP London, graduating with a First Class Ba (Hons) In Creative Musicianship. I hold Performance and Music Theory guitar qualifications at Grade 8. I have experience in recording and performing with a wide range of popular artists in the music industry across a variety of styles and genres, whilst also having several years of experience teaching Guitar to beginner, intermediate and advanced abilities. I offer a friendly, informative approach to learning guitar that is tailored to the pupil. Whether that be developing through graded syllabuses or aquiring new skills through learning songs that you like. My sole aim is that pupils develop on the instrument and get the most out of their lessons whilst also having a fun and interesting time doing so.

I have fifteen years of experience in teaching, writing, and research. I am a passionate person, but I also appreciate methodical and structured work. I always organize my lessons in more or less the same way (a short introduction/review, a focus on the main activities, and a conclusion/summary to review the corrections made during the session, discuss any difficulties encountered, and plan for the next steps). For the same reason, I advocate the use of high-quality teaching materials. I therefore offer you, with great pleasure, two types of courses where the rigor of a training center combines with the advantages of a personalized teacher: 1. LANGUAGE, CULTURE AND CIVILIZATION COURSE IN LATIN AMERICA AND SPANISH. If you learn the language for fun, if you are going on a trip, if you like literature, cinema, art, music, gastronomy, this style of course is for you. For intermediate / advanced levels, we can explore the various expressions of the Hispanic world at our discretion. Your proposals are welcome and / or I would suggest documents from ELE manuals such as "Todas las voces", "Clases de cine", "Aires de fiesta latina", etc. We can also start learning the language, and for that we will use the very recent manual "Bitácora", really innovative in its lexical approach: priority to the construction of sentences and word networks, less grammar rules. Finally, if you want to browse with me an ELE manual on a specific subject (a country, a cinematic genre, a cultural expression), I would be delighted to present my ideas to you, to buy it at the same time as you and to discover it. and explore it together. 2. PREPARATION FOR COMPETITIONS (DELE, CAPES, AGGREGATION, ENTRY INTO SCHOOL OF COMMERCE) AND SCHOOL SUPPORT (TERMINAL, BTS, LICENSE, MASTER), to help you overcome your difficulties and better understand the essentials, the details, the specifics of the Spanish language and the Hispanic world. In these courses it is you who provide me with the basic material (exception for DELE, where I can offer you methods and manuals), these documents which cause you problems. I will take the time to examine them, analyze them and finally accompany you and clarify together what seemed obscure and inaccessible. Thank you and see you soon !
