Expressive English: Your Thoughts, in Other Words.
From 42 C$ /h
With me, you will learn both casual English for conversation and formal English for school essays or for professional emails. I am a trained actor, and so theater exercises and acting games can be part of the work that we do together, including improvisation, scenework, monologues, and other activities. I look forward to helping you grow your expressive skills in English!

About Me
I studied theater in college, which taught me the beauty and power of words, as well as the ability to express myself in someone else's words. My wife is from Tsukuba, where I live now. I have taught English in Seoul and in Tel Aviv, and I have taught Hebrew in the United States. My Japanese is intermediate level, and I continue to study. I am studying to become a clinical mental health counselor, and have worked as a hospital chaplain in the United States. I have taught in many different settings, including private language schools (hagwon), public schools, private schools, and private tutoring. My native language is English, and I also speak Spanish and Hebrew fluently. I have intermediate skill in Japanese and in Korean.
