Graduated with a master's degree in Earth Sciences and another in IT development, I am currently available in Nairobi to give private lessons in all scientific subjects (math, physics, chemistry, SVT, computer sciences) from the 6th grade to the 12th grade (any option). Classes can be given in French or English depending on preferences. I have many teaching experiences.

About Me

I defend the error teaching method (I can make an error because I learn with it and I'll not make 2 times the same one). To me learn is like a game, a challenge and it can be quite fun if the teaching method is build for. so I give my best to construct fun way to work learn and improve. I've already proof that my method is efficient in private lesson, all my 12th grade student was graduate (11 students). I'm not strict but I definitely don't like lazy student because for me the success in school is made by the student and not by the teacher.

The SAT/ ACT can sound and feel daunting. Whether it's the first time a learner is taking it, or not, preparation is at the heart of testing well.

I bring personality and can-do attitude: high-energy, intense, and highly motivated. I work with a spirit of urgency, but I am also ready at any moment to ease up, relax, crack jokes, and take a quick break from the pressure of test prep.

My philosophy towards test prep is easily summarized: “Help students significantly improve their SAT and/or ACT scores, while providing a great experience to students & parents.” I appreciate that teenagers are all unique and interesting personalities! I tailor each lesson to each student, even depending on how the kids are feeling that day. I utilize a mix of highly-tested strategies and total content mastery to open students’ eyes to the secrets of the SAT/ACT.

But, on test day, students have to do the work themselves. Therefore, everything I teach in lessons is based around a solid core of personal practice, homework assignments, and grinding out practice problems.

In order to meet the practical requirements of these professions, you need thorough preparation in the subjects of chemistry, physics and applied mathematics in addition to the German language certificate B1/B2. I am a retired German teacher who currently lives in Nairobi. I studied chemistry at the Technical University of Karlsruhe, Germany and then taught chemistry, physics and applied mathematics for 40 years at a school for scientific and technical professions. I will prepare you for the (practice-oriented) lessons at a German vocational school, which are very different from the (theory-oriented) lessons at a Kenyan secondary school. The learning group consists of 1 to 4 students. The following activities are free for you. I will help you find a company near my home, i.e. in the greater Karlsruhe area.
