About Me
In recent months, bygod has embraced a new chapter in Oman, where he lives and works. Based in Muscat, he’s been composing and producing music for documentaries, films, and commercial spots—melding his ambient sensibilities with cinematic storytelling to craft evocative scores that resonate across visual media.
Education
bygod is an Italian-born bassist, composer, and ambient music architect known for his immersive solo work and versatile studio collaborations. With a background rooted between Naples and Rome’s vibrant experimental scene, he blends fretless bass, looping technology, and atmospheric soundscapes to create truly original sonic environments.
Released the solo EP Inside the Fortress in March 2012—an immersive journey through ambient bass and live-looping techniques, recorded at home and featuring just a Manne Acoustibass 5 strings. He offers session bass services and lessons via platforms, delivering fretless, electric, and acoustic bass tracks with quick, high-quality turnaround—tailored for diverse projects
