The cello is a beautiful instrument from the family of string instruments with a warm, deep sound. The instrument offers the opportunity to play in a wide variety of formations, from solo to in a large orchestra. I have completed an artistic degree and am currently doing a master's degree in education at the Bern University of the Arts. I have already taught for two and a half years in Hanover, where I lived before, and would like to pass on my passion to children. I make my lessons as varied and stimulating as possible - the focus is on fun and games. I also like to improvise with my students on the instrument and am open to all kinds of ideas, including when it comes to the repertoire. But I also have a plan for how I will learn exercises, songs and pieces with the students, depending on their level of difficulty.

Individual clarinet lessons for children and adults (all levels (English, German, Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian)). Available online as well! I believe that all knowledge comes with a price of a change which then provokes us again to start learning ourselves and finding the best possible ways of expression. On the other side, my pedagogical idea is to allow pupils/students to explore themselves and to give them enough space and possibilities to try out, risk, and eventually find their way of communicating. Also, my aim as a teacher is to show that the process of learning and exploring is always, if done properly, first of all, an exploration of oneself, and therefore, cannot and should not become a dull process of receiving information without an obvious purpose. My experience as a teacher has shown me that between very young (5-12) and older people (19-27), (the age groups with whom I have worked), there is actually no big difference and that the only thing which separates the teaching process is the approach towards them as personalities. With this said and including the fact that I am experienced in working with both groups of people, I over in my add lessons to everybody, without age or skill difference. I am fluent in all clarinets from the clarinet family including the baroque clarinet and the contrabass clarinet.

I am currently doing my second Masters in Music Performance at the Hochschule der Künste Bern. Coming from Singapore/London, both English and Mandarin Chinese are my first languages. I completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at the age of 16. I also speak fluent Polish, French and a little German. I have 5-years-long teaching experience gained while working in a music school in Poland as a violin teacher and giving private lessons. Currently I am improving my knowledge at the University of Arts in Bern in Master Music Pedagogy. I offer private violin classes in Bern for all levels and all ages. In Moscow I worked at music school for 4 years, also worked at Chopin Klavier-Institut in Switzerland for one year and doing replacements at music schools from time to time. I have a lot of experience working with small kids (from 4yo) and with adults as well. Have been studied with great internationally famous teachers, attended large amount of workshops and constantly improve my skills, so I will be happy to share my knowledge on my lessons. I have an individual approach to each student. During classes, I would like to develop the student's musical ear and improve the playing technique. I’m very creative and I always come up with interesting activities to make during the lesson in order to have a varied lesson and to keep student’s motivation. With me you will learn how to feel comfortable on the fretboard, how chords are constructed and how to find the notes yourself. How to improvise in different styles and everything you need to learn your favorite songs.

Do you want to learn a new instrument or do you want to take flute lessons again after a break? My lessons are individually tailored to each student. It is important to me that the joy of making music is in the foreground. We work out technical basics and pieces together. In addition, we will make music and improvise together and discover the diversity of the flute. All age categories and levels are welcome here - whether young or old, beginner or advanced. Together we create a practice plan and determine what will be worked on. Briefly about me: I am a music student at the Bern University of the Arts. I'm currently completing my master's degree in performance. I completed both my bachelor's and master's degrees in education with honors. I have been playing the flute since second primary school and decided to turn my hobby into a career in 2017.
