Urban Dance - Intermediate level for adults/ teens (small group of 6)
From 95.41 C$ /h
Do you like choreography that pops, sounds that resonate within you, and that feeling where the whole group is really giving it their all?
Then this course is for you.
Urban Dance is a course focused on choreography, drawing on the codes of urban dances: Hip-hop, New Style, Street Jazz, House, Locking, Popping, Dancehall, Afro, Heels, Commercial, Krump.
We work on how to bring a sound to life through the body, with more precision, more attitude, more musicality and more impact.
Here, we don't just come to learn a series of steps.
We come here to learn how to bring out energy.
It's an intermediate course
for those who want to go further in their way of dancing, develop their universe, refine their presence and build real choreographic projects, in video and sometimes on stage.
My goal?
develop your universe, strengthen your interpretation and build, together, video or stage projects.
So if you want to create, progress and enjoy group choreography:
Join us!

About Me
Hi, my name is GY
I've been dancing for over 15 years, long enough to know that the hardest part isn't always learning the steps. It's knowing how to inhabit them with your own attitude.
Over the years, I have seen shy beginners reveal themselves, students convinced that "they were not made for dancing" gain confidence, and very different personalities gradually find their own way of inhabiting movement, their own FLOW.
My approach is not about repeating movements until they are “right”. What interests me is helping each person develop their personal dance, their style, their musicality, their presence, and that little thing impossible to copy that we call energy.
I place great importance on kindness, because we learn better when we feel confident. But for me, kindness does not mean a lack of standards.
I like to create an environment that is both stimulating and accessible, where you can push yourself, explore, make mistakes, start again, and above all, enjoy dancing.
Musicality is also central to my teaching method. Hearing the music, feeling it, understanding its accents, its breaths, its intentions: that's where dance truly begins to reveal itself to us.
In summary, my approach is caring, demanding and musical: we progress together, at our own pace and without taking ourselves too seriously.
So if you're motivated, you don't need any prerequisites: just come and find your flow every Friday! :)

Do you want to learn to dance, but without feeling overwhelmed by a fast-paced choreography or a class where you have to "follow" without really understanding? Then this course is for you.
Stage Expression is a beginner's course designed for teens and adults who want to finally build a solid foundation. Here, the focus isn't on accumulating steps. The aim is to learn to understand movement, to feel it, and to embody it with greater fluidity, awareness, and presence.
You'll be working on simple, accessible, yet essential movements. These are fundamentals also found in more advanced dance, with one major difference: they know how to inhabit them. That's precisely what you'll learn here.
The goal is to help you develop your physical ease, sense of rhythm, coordination, expression, and above all, your ability to bring your dance to life. You're not here to copy. You're here to discover your flow, gain confidence, and learn to express yourself through your body.
This course is ideal if you're a beginner, hesitant to start, or have already tried other courses without making much progress. The atmosphere is supportive and pressure-free, allowing you to take your time and learn at your own pace.
Places are limited to a maximum of 6 students to guarantee quality support, real follow-up and a space where everyone can progress serenely.
Friday | 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM
