Young, live, and session drummer, with 13 years of working experience and Certificate of Higher Education from Drumtrainer Berlin, offering custom-made lessons for students of all levels. My wish is to get you playing the songs you like as soon as possible and teach you a deeper understanding of the tools necessary for your own creative freedom. I use visual, auditory and movement games to help my students learn in a fun and easy ways. The emphasis of my teaching is on play and enjoyment of the instrument. I believe that, through joy and the correct approach to your needs, it is also possible to learn the more difficult aspects of drumming. I've been a drummer for almost 20 years now, and I've graduated from both Brussels Royal Conservatory of Music (classical percussion) and Mons Royal Conservatory of Music (pedagogy). I've been teaching percussion, the drums and music theory for a little more than 4 years now. My students are always the real actors of my courses. No matter what instrument you are learning, be it percussion, the drums, marimba, vibraphone, or music theory, I always pay close attention to your personal goals, and together we devise a unique learning plan that adapts to your strengths as well as your weaknesses. My courses are aimed at anyone who is willing to put effort into learning music; children or adults, complete beginners or more advanced players who wish to receive additional feedback and insight. Autonomy, creativity, curiosity and listening skills are the true pillars of my methodology. We pay as much attention to technique as to musicality or listening skills. Beatboxing is a relatively unknown discipline, even though it allows for an absolutely incredible musical variety: percussion, whistles, bass, special sounds straight out of an alien movie... our body is an instrument in itself, and learning beatbox is accessible to everyone! I'll take you step by step, starting with easy and useful sounds, gradually moving towards impressive, fun sounds, or those of your choice.
