Meet with me for the allotted time period to get assistance in peer review, brainstorming more creative ideas and writing forms, and gather input on how to improve your storytelling, poetry, scripture, or even lyricism! During the tutoring period the student will decide what they want to focus on that session, whether that be something listed above or another form of help or medium (as long as it fits into the category of creative writing!)
I come from a background of having taken multiple creative writing courses, as well as doing it often in my own spare time. I will be focused on providing the student with what they need help with as well as any side notes I believe will assist them in their writing journey.

About Me
Hi! I'm a 20yr old college student centered at UW-Milwaukee. I'm going to be declaring my major in Conservation and Environmental Science, though for teaching I specialize in the arts!
I was originally going to attend MIAD, a private art college ranked 22nd in the country, however I couldn't afford the tuition. I ended up choosing UWM and then switched from an art-based path to a science one, (talk about a change of mind, am I right?)
More personally, I am very LGBT+ and POC friendly and I don't shy away from helping those with disabilities, (mentally or physically)
My teaching style is very open ended, based solely on what the individual student needs. I will never assign homework unless the student requests it as motivation.

I am attending University of Wisconsin Milwaukee as a freshman with my intended major being CES with a minor in Photography. My GPA as of currently is a 4.0 with last semester ending with a 3.6.
Experience / Qualifications
I've completed multiple advanced courses in visual art (Scratchboard, Charcoal, 2D animation, Graphic Design, Illustration, etc.), a few levels in creative writing (mainly Fiction and Poetry, though I've dabbled in others), and have many, many years of experience with creative work of varying variety.

In this class, the discussions will be very different per individual and what they want to achieve out of this course. For some, that may be finding a consistent art style that feels right to them, or maybe they need to find a simplified style for their comics or animations. Maybe they love their style, but something feels wrong, or they need direction on how to advance their skills. I can give insight to all of it!
I specialize in using Clip Studio Paint, though I've dabbled in Procreate and many physical mediums. However, the medium will only be important in the case that the student requests information on how to achieve a certain look to their art via tools and not skillset. (ex: how to tween on CSP)
