About Me
I am a Milan and London based tailor and textile artist. I have 15+ years teaching and working in the fashion and textiles industry. I lived in New York City for 12 years, tailoring for high end brands, celebrities, and red carpet events. With a creative eye for custom tailoring, design, pattern making, and innovative textiles, I have fit and tailored high-end garments for celebrity appearances such as Cher, Finneas, Michael B. Jordan, Ethan Hawke, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Paul Rudd, and many red carpet events such as Met Gala, Oscars, Golden Globes.
I teach students of all ages, backgrounds and experiences. The subjects that I teach include fashion design, collection development, fashion illustration, drawing, hand and machine sewing, tailoring, alterations, weaving, fabric dyeing and textiles.
I received her BFA in Textiles and Fashion Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art. After graduating in 2009, and moved to NYC and began apprenticing as a tailor for bespoke menswear companies. I completed a pattern-making apprenticeship with Nicolas Caito Atelier and worked as a designer and couturier for many brands such as MARNI, Givenchy, Zam Barrett, Dolce & Gabanna, MICHAEL KORS Collection, ETRO, and many more.
Textile and art residencies include the Ós residency at the Icelandic Textile Center in May 2023, and a two week textile residency at Texere in Oaxaca, Mexico in January 2023.
I am also co-founder and advisor of non profit weaving arts organization Intertwine Arts where I teach weaving, fiber arts, and sewing to people with disabilities around the U.S.
