Hello! I am a professional artist and instructor based in Milan, and I am here to help you dive into the world of visual arts. My Teaching Approach:
I don't believe in rigid templates or magical formulas. You cannot learn to play an instrument just by reading music, and you cannot learn to draw by simply memorizing geometric clichés. Drawing is not a rational process; as the great master Moebius showed us, a line only truly comes to life when you quiet down the analytical mind and tap into the intuitive "right side" of your brain. My method is hands-on: we practice first, we analyze after.
We will push past creative blocks and technical limits through focused, action-driven exercises designed to train your hand to instantly obey what your mind sees. Once the drawing is on paper, we will use technical theory only as a secondary diagnostic tool—an "anatomy check"—to polish mistakes and make your unique personal style truly shine.
Lessons can be held in person in Milan (in English or Italian) or online via webcam. All ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced professionals, are welcome! Feel free to message me with your ideas before booking. Let’s start creating together!

• Materials & Supplies: Please do not rush to buy expensive materials before our first lesson! We will always start with what you already have at home. As we develop your personal program, I will guide you on exactly what to get. This ensures you only invest in high-quality, useful tools specific to your artistic path, without wasting money on unnecessary supplies.
• Lesson Duration: Lessons are typically structured in 2-hour sessions. When you enter the creative flow and start drawing or painting, time flies incredibly fast. A 2-hour window gives us the perfect amount of time to warm up, practice deeply, and review your progress without feeling rushed.
• Consistency & Schedule: Art is a journey that thrives on habit. If you choose a lesson package, I highly recommend scheduling one or two sessions a week, keeping a fixed day and time. Consistency is the secret ingredient to building that crucial hand-eye coordination and seeing rapid, rewarding progress!

Hello! My name is Lucio. I am a professional artist, comics creator, and illustrator based in Milan. I hold a degree in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano.

In this class, students will learn the basics of drawing and painting. The course will start with an introduction to drawing, covering topics such as line, shape, form, value, and composition. Students will then move on to painting, learning about color theory, mixing paint, and different painting techniques.

Throughout the course, students will have the opportunity to work with a variety of materials, including pencils, charcoal, acrylics, and watercolors. They will also be encouraged to experiment with different styles and approaches to drawing and painting.
