I am a professional pianist offering private piano lessons to students of all levels. Having 5 years of teaching experience, I enjoy teaching my students with music of their own preferred style and interest. I teach in combination of theory and behind the keys as I believe understanding what is on the page is the fastest way to play the music. My primary goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music during the course of learning piano. I teach so my students can eventually pick up any piece of music and play. I do this by helping students master the theory and practice hand techniques so that when it comes time to play the piece, their mind (what they see on the page) and body (telling their fingers what to do) will come together easily. My experience includes accompanying many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and in collaboration with orchestras and bands. During the lesson we comprehensively understand and learn about the structure of the music composition, the era of the composer and the history of the creation of the piece, conduct harmonic analysis and tighten the knowledge of solfeggio and musical notation. Also I can provide music theory focused lessons.
